The Green Me Film Festival was founded in 2007 by Nicolai Niemann and Donald Houwer starting with a first lounge the following year. Nic Niemann became the managing director and festival president when Donald Houwer left the organisation in 2012.

MM: Good day Bissan Ahmed. In the catalogue of the 2010 Al Mutanabbi Poetry Festival organised by the Mesopotamian Cultural Institute Baghdad-Babylon you are presented as Bissan Abu Khaled:

Danny van Belle is a renowned Belgian underwater photographer and videographer working with his wife as a "spotter" to document the beauty of marine life, particularly in the tropics. He was the president of the jury in the World Oceans Day 2014 contest organised by Mundus maris for young people to tell visual stories about the sea.  Returning from his latest exploratory trip to the Pacific, Mundus maris was able to interview Danny van Belle about his work and how it changed over time.

Delphi Breger está conocida como una actriz especialmente por la película "Scherbengericht" (ostracismo) (2013). Desde 2014, es directriz de programación del Festival de Cine Green Me en Berlín. La vida sostenible es su gran preocupación, incluso a nivel personal. Mundus maris preguntó Delphi Breger poco después del festival, cómo el programa se había creado y lo que esperaba lograr.

MM: Con motivo de la exposición "Mediterraneum”, celebrado en Roma entre diciembre de 2013 y enero de 2014, hemos querido obtener más información de primera mano acerca de esta exposición y del mismo pintor Oreste Baldini. Nos acercamos buscando respuestas a algunas de nuestras preguntas:

¡Salven a los peces pequeños hoy, o no tendrán peces grandes mañana!

"Era un viejo que pescaba solo en un bote en la corriente del Golfo y que había ido ochenta y cuatro días sin tomar ahora un pez. En los primeros cuarenta días un niño había estado con él. Pero después de cuarenta días sin peces los padres del niño le habían dicho que el viejo estaba definitiva y finalmente salao, que es la peor forma de mala suerte, y el muchacho se había ido a sus órdenes en otro barco que atrapó tres buenos peces la primera semana. "

The third edition of the festival "Memory of the Penc and villages of Dakar" was held July 17, 2012 at the Grand Theater in Dakar. Penc denotes a place under the traditonal meeting tree. Mundus maris was officially invited and represented by Aliou Sall, Vice-President and met the organiser, multi-talent Mamadou Ndiaye "THIA".

The three slogans of the festival were

(i) For the appreciation of Lebou cultural heritage;
(ii) The consolidation of ties of understanding and solidarity of the Lebou family; and
(iii) The cultural renaissance of Senegal and Africa.
